Three Screens Delivered to O'Connell Quarries in Ireland

Hewitt Robins has recently delivered three linear motion screens to O'Connell Quarries in Ireland. O’Connell Quarries is a family-owned supplier of aggregates, sand, and ready-mix concrete in the Mid-West region. The company has recently invested in a new €3.5 million plant, which incorporates these three Hewitt Robins screens.

The three machines supplied are:

1. A Hewitt Robins LPE11 1800mm x 4800mm Double Deck Low Angle Scalper. The scalper handles around 400tph of -250mm Greywacke and comes complete with a Hardox 400 top deck and a side-tensioned wire bottom deck.
2. The main sizing screen, a Hewitt Robins LPE14 1800mm x 7200mm Triple Deck Horizontal Screen, handles up to 450tph and screens at 50mm on the top deck, 20mm on the middle deck, and 6mm on the bottom deck using side-tensioned rubber media.
3. A Hewitt Robins LPE11 1800mm x 4800mm Double Deck Horizontal Screen, which handles around 100tph and screens at 12mm on the top deck and 6mm on the bottom deck.

The machines are scheduled to be installed later this year, and we are excited to see them in operation. The three screens were supplied via our sole dealer for Ireland, Crushing & Screening Services Ltd.
