Hewitt Robins has recently completed the replacement of a 1.9 x 6.0 which was previously a triple-shafted Horizontal Screen with a new, high-performance Hewitt Robins two-shafted overhead horizontal screen.
Designed and built to fit seamlessly into the customer’s existing installation, the new Hewitt Robins 1.9 x 6.0 screen required minimal on-site modifications, providing a fast, efficient, and cost-effective upgrade.
Delivering high amplitude and operating speeds, the screen achieves a higher running G to deliver a 20% increase in capacity.
The overhead vibrator unit not only improves access between decks but also simplifies maintenance to the screen box, ensuring maximum uptime and ease of service.
Given the tough operational environment, the LPE-14 1.9 x 6.0 screen was supplied with heavy-duty features including polyurethane modular media, rubber cross-member protection, and a rubber-lined feed box and discharge lips for extended wear life.
Now fully installed and commissioned, the new Hewitt Robins screen is already delivering outstanding performance and is built to provide many more years of reliable service.
