Six Washing Screens to Leading Maganese Ore Mine

Hewitt Robins has recently been awarded the contract to supply six washing screens to the number one manganese ore mine.

These six screens installed over three lines will be handling around 900tph in total and will be washing the manganese ore to give a plus 8mm product, 2-8mm product and a 1-2mm product.

The three primary screens are 3m wide x 6.5m long and will be screening at 8mm top deck and 2mm bottom deck. The -2mm washed manganese ore then will feed onto three secondary screens which are 3.m wide x 7.2m long. The secondary screens at all screening and washing the material at 1mm.

Each machine will be installed with a 2QV14 vibrator unit which is a state-of-the-art pod type vibrator unit. This type of unit is self-synchronised so there are no timing gears or heavy eccentric shafts or beams.
