Hewitt Robins has recently supplied two Single Deck Wash Screens to one of South Americas biggest Copper Ore mines.
The 2QV14 3m wide x 6m long Single Deck Wash Screens are each handling up to 903tph coarse slurry tailings sands. The screens are washing at 4mm using polyurethane modular slotted decks. The screens come complete with pod type vibrator unit with 8 x 140mm bearings, feed box with polyurethane liners, discharge lips with polyurethane liners, support springs (protected), spring brackets, spring base plates, 2 x 18.5kw drive motors, 2 x cardan shaft drives, motor pulley, vibrator pulley, v-belt drive, friction check assemblies, rubber crossmember protection, polyurethane modular decks and Spray bars & PU Nozzles.
These machines should be installed in early 2025 and we look forward to seeing them in operation.
