Hewitt Robins was requested to undertake the work off-site due to the customer's current company policy of limiting third party contractors on their sites and offices, this falls in line with the Governments guidelines on social distancing and best practice.
The unit was returned to Hewitt Robins workshop on a Friday, each component was measured and recorded, guaranteeing reused parts were still to tolerance, before re-fitting and returning back to the customer the following Monday. This resulted in only two days of downtime and provided the customer with the reassurance that the screen would continue to operate for the next 22 years!
