Hewitt Robins has recently supplied four replacement vibrating machines for the glass recycling industry.
The contract to replace the four existing, ageing vibrating screens was awarded just two months ago and we designed, manufactured, tested and delivered the machines within a 10-week period
This machine order comprised one 1.2m x 3m Low Angle Finger Screen and one 1.5m x 3.00m Low Angle Finger Screen. Both screens came with bolt-on OLI vibrator motors, fingers, mild steel impact section, mild steel discharge lips, support springs, spring base plates and Chrome Carbide Liners. The other two machines were Hewitt Robins 0.6m x 4.00m Horizontal Pan Feeders which came complete with bolt on OLI vibrator motors, support springs, spring base plates and chrome carbide liners.
The Hewitt Robins Design Engineers listened to the customer's current issues with their existing vibrating equipment and designed these issues out by making a series of simple improvements. They visited the site, measured up the existing machines and took all the operating data to analyse what improvements could be made.
The machines will be installed in the near future, and we look forward to sharing the installation and commissioning information.
